This post is pretty much random stuff. First, we started our garden! Jordan has been so great in doing nice things for me, like building a fence, and now these wonderful planter boxes! They are 4 feet by 8 feet, so that gives us a lot of room to grow some yummy food this summer! Yesterday, our neighbor let us borrow his truck and we were able to get two loads of top soil to fill the raised beds with. It has been really rainy for the past couple of days, but tomorrow should be nice, so hopefully I can start planting vegetables like peas and cabbage that wont die if there is still another freeze.
I started some seeds today for the vegetables that wont live if it freezes, like tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, basil, parsley and a few others. I can't wait for them sprout!
And more importantly, here are some cute pictures of Clara. My mom knit this super cute sweater. Clara looks absolutely adorable in it! Thanks Grandma!
We got Clara one of those walkers that turns into a car she can ride around. She can't really walk with it just yet, but she is getting the hand of taking steps. I think she just needs to get her confidence, then she will be off and running! I don't know why I am encouraging that, but it is very exciting!

Thanks for posting. Clara is definately really, really cute. I love the garden.
I love the sweater!! So cute and I love the yarn.
Your back yard looks so good. It must be so nice to have a fenced yard. I too am excited for our garden (in a community garden where we live). I planted a basil "bush" last summer. I wanted enough to make lots of pesto with. I sure had enough. We still have some in the freezer :) Good luck with your garden - it looks great!!
I love the sweater. I want to make one. Mmmm.....tomatoes. I was just telling John yesterday that we need to plant some in those big pots you left here.
The sweater is so cute! I can't believe how old she is. Such a cutie. I hope I can have a little girl as cute as her someday....
Your yard is BEAUTIFUL- even if things haven't been planted and sprouted yet! I can't imagine how gorgeous it will be once they do :) Great job, guys! I can't wait for the day we can come visit and eat freshly grown garden meals...hmm, I can taste them now!
Woah! Clara is looking more and more like a little girl instead of a baby! Also, she still looks exactly like Jordan!
I love the green sweater!!! Tell your mom to hook me up! How did you get a blue eyed baby? I am sooo jealous. She is a cutie! I wish I could do a garden... I think everything I touch dies, so I am waiting until hubby is around to help with something like that.
Oh my goodness she has changed so much! She's adorable and your title picture made me laugh so hard it was so cute!
So cute!! She will be walking in no time! That sweater is SO darling. I can' t wait to see the fruits/veggies of your labors!!
